Type:	Contract
Compensation:	$260 per event.
Inclusive of Expenses:	Stipend includes mileage, traveling time, and pre/post event activities.
Shifts:	Day, evening, and weekends

About Us

Restore Yourself, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, established in 2022 to combat the Mpox crisis in Minnesota through vaccinations, treatment assistance, and prevention education. Our vaccination partnership is with M Health Fairview.

Mission

Increase Mpox vaccination accessibility, assist with treatments, and combat misinformation in Minnesota.

Job Summary

The Minneapolis Mpox Taskforce and Fairview Health System received an MPOX prevention and vaccination grant to offer 39 vaccination and health service events throughout the state focusing on BIPOC and LGBTQ communities. The grant period ends January 31, 2025. This position coordinates and hosts these events.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet and assist patients with registration and health form completion, emphasizing inclusivity for BIPOC and LGBTQ communities.
• Serve as primary contact for inquiries, providing information to a diverse patient population.
• When appropriate, engage event participants to attract interest in vaccination/health events.
• Manage patient flow to ensure a smooth process, maintaining a supportive environment.
• Coordinate with volunteers and staff to support event operations.
• Collect contact information for second dose reminder calls
• Compile daily tallies of vaccinations and health education sessions.
• Provide referrals for further screening or services as needed.

Qualifications

• 4 years of professional experience and/or education in public health, or related fields, focusing on health disparities among BIPOC and LGBTQ communities.
• Event coordination or project management experience.
• Background in community and/or sexual health preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• A commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

We hope to hire 1-2 coordinators who can provide their own transportation to and from events.
